'A Good Girl's Guide to Murder' Season 2 Cracks a Release Date
The second season of the teen thriller based on Holly Jackson's popular YA novels will take up a new case.
Mark your calendars, YA fans: Pippa Fitz-Amboi is back on the case this spring. The second season of A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder is set to premiere on Netflix in April and will see the teen sleuth tackle a brand-new mystery.
Based on author Holly Jackson’s bestselling trilogy of novels, the series stars Emma Myers (Wednesday) as Pippa “Pip” Fitz-Amobi, a young true crime enthusiast who becomes convinced her small town’s most famous death isn’t as open and shut as everyone seems to think.
At the end of Season 1, both Pip and her Buckinghamshire town were left reeling by the uncomfortable truths revealed in the Andie Bell case. Facing some big life questions of her own — as well as some unresolved romantic issues with her investigative partner Ravi (Zain Iqbal) — she’s determined to leave the crime-solving business behind. But despite her best efforts, it seems as though the case of Andie’s killer isn’t quite done with her yet.
Season 2 will adapt Good Girl, Bad Blood, the second novel in Jackson’s trilogy, and its story will see Pip forced to face the past even as she’s confronted with a new mystery to solve when a friend’s brother goes missing.

Here’s the synopsis.
After solving the Andie Bell case, Pip is determined to fix the fallout – and stay away from any more investigations. But as Max Hastings’ trial approaches, Connor’s brother Jamie suddenly disappears, and Pip finds herself in a race against time to find him.

New cast members for Season 2 include:
- Jack Rowan (MobLand) as Charlie Green, Pippa’s new neighbor. Charlie is drawn into the heart of the mystery unraveling in Little Kilton.
- Misia Butler (Kaos) as Stanley Forbes, a figure on the fringes of the investigation. Stanley has connections that may run deeper than they seem.
- Eden H. Davies (Tell Me Everything) as Jamie Reynolds, Connor’s brother. He is a quiet but popular local musician. Jamie’s sudden disappearance sends shock waves through the community.
- Freddie England as Robin, a controversial new member of the friendship group, who starts dating Lauren.
Other new faces arriving in Season 2 include Anna Brindle (Wild Cherry), Peter Sullivan (Around the World in 80 Days), Freddie Thorp (A Discovery of Witches), Lu Corfield (The Crow Girl), and Stephanie Street (Joan).

Poppy Cogan and Jackson have once again joined forces to adapt Season 2. Directors Asim Abbasi and Jill Robertson split helming duties across the second season’s six episodes, taking over from the Season 1 directing team of Tom Vaughn and Dolly Wells. Sophie Klein produces.
Cogan and Jackson are also executive producers, alongside Matthew Read, Simon Crawford Collins, and Frith Tiplady for Moonage Pictures; Lucy Richer, Danielle Scott-Haughton, and Katherine Bond for the BBC.
A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder Season 2 will premiere with all episodes on Wednesday, May 27, 2026, on Netflix.
