Breaking: Moffat Out at Doctor Who, No Full 2016 Season

So let us be clear. I’ve been on a bit of a posting break lately, but the rumors that Moffat was looking for a replacement have been bubbling since the finale. Most posts which discussed them took this as proof Season 10 would be his last, and he was looking for a replacement. Capaldi’s hedging that he would leave post Season 10 was seen in the same vein. Capaldi wouldn’t stay post Moffat, Moffat was out by the end of next season, QED. We’d have a companion introduced this season who would cross to the next Doctor/Showrunner and be the continuity. And all those rumors about filming not starting until May and the season perhaps not being fully in 2016? Rumbles, but most quashed.

And then, less than an hour ago, the RadioTimes dropped the bomb.
