Everything British Worth Streaming in March 2026

It's everything British worth streaming on the major American subscription services in March 2026, from Apple TV to Viaplay.

Longtime fans of British shows on American TV are used to March's arrivals being a bit wonky. As we noted in our PBS list, this is a month when public television pauses to focus on the springtime pledge period, which is why, for decades, U.K. debuts have tended to go dormant mid-month.

British shows are no longer nearly as dependent on Masterpiece and public broadcasting as they once were, but there are still multiple interruptions throughout the month across the board. The Academy Awards, spring break, and major religious holidays like Easter, Passover, and Eid all occur in March; the result is usually a slew of debuts in the first week, followed by nothing until the final ten days of the month.

However, this year is far more balanced than usual, thanks to nearly every service offering something for Anglophiles to watch. There are only a couple of major American services sitting out this month, and they are decidedly the second-tier, also-rans: Paramount+ and Peacock. Everyone else (even HBO Max!) managed to rustle up something to offer our viewers this month. Let's run down all the British (and one French) titles coming to our shores on the major streaming services for March 2026.

The Hunt (Traqués)

It won't surprise anyone to discover that the subscription service walking in with a French series and demanding we take it seriously is Apple TV. However, it may surprise people to know that The Hunt (Traqués) was a last-minute addition to the schedule, with Apple only confirming the debut in the final weeks of February.

Originally claimed as an original work, the series stars Benoît Magimel as Franck, who discovers he and his friends are being stalked by another group during a hunting trip, only for the cat-and-mouse game to continue after he returns home. The series was originally scheduled for a holiday-timed arrival in December 2025, until someone alerted Apple to how similar the story was to Douglas Fairbairn's 1973 novel Shoot. After a three-month delay, the series is on the schedule, now billed as "a series by Anger based on the novel Shoot by Douglas Fairbairn, which was first adapted into a feature film of the same name, directed by Harvey Hart from a screenplay by Richard Berg."

The Hunt (Traqués) arrives with a two-episode premiere on Wednesday, March 4, with new episodes weekly through April 1, 2026.

Malpractice Seasons 1-2

After a decade of co-producing programming, it seems the Hulu/BBC3 partnership is at an end. In January, Aunty Beeb took its BBC3 roster to YouTube, followed quickly by Disney+ announcing a deal with ITV that will bring a wave of British shows to the U.S. under the Hulu vertical. The American streamer is wasting no time either, starting with the binge-dump arrival of Malpractice, an anthology series from Jed Mercurio's outfit that's best described as "Line of Duty: ER." The series was canceled after its second season (unsurprisingly, just as it was announced that Line of Duty was returning for Season 7), but the two seasons that were made are absolutely worth the ride.

All episodes of Malpractice debut on Hulu on Friday, March 13, 2026.

The 98th Academy Awards

The Oscars may be the most American-centric film awards on the planet; however, Americans are also suckers for great British acting, which means there's plenty for Anglophiles to obsess over, including top-line nominations for Hamnet, writer Maggie O'Farrell, actors Jessie Buckley, Wunmi Mosaku, Delroy Lindo, and musician Nick Cave. Besides, Disney finally figured out how to stream the awards show live instead of just tossing it on Hulu the next day and wondering why the show's viewership was cratering. That alone makes it worth mentioning in this list.

The 98th Academy Awards will stream live on Disney+ on Sunday, March 15, 2026.

Fackham Hall

Poor HBO thought it would be rescued by Netflix, only to learn at the end of February that it is slated to join the ongoing horror show that Ellison State Television is currently wreaking on Paramount+. Take pity, as the only British offering this month, Fackham Hall, is probably a good sample of the sort of fare the once great network will eventually be reduced to: "Gross out Downton Abbey Parody that Appeals to American Men."

Fackham Hall debuts on HBO Max on Friday, March 6, 2026.

Vladimir

Netflix kicks off March with its adaptation of playwright Julia May Jonas' best-selling novel, Vladimir, from Bad Sisters creator Sharon Horgan. The darkly comic thriller stars future Dame Rachel Weisz (The Favourite) as a professor obsessed with her captivating new colleague, the titular Vladimir (Leo Woodall).

All episodes of Vladimir debut on Thursday, March 5, 2026.

The Man in the High Castle Seasons 1-3

We very rarely note when older shows shift from one service to another, but The Man in the High Castle deserves to be an exception to the rule, and not just because it stars Rupert Evans and Rufus Sewell. The Man in the High Castle was Prime Video's big-budget flagship series in 2014, marking its foray into original programming, and presented as obviously superior to House of Cards. Instead, Amazon's Nazi-themed promo materials turned the rollout into a PR disaster, proving that the "dollar-theater-off-the-flea-market" streaming service didn't have the taste level to succeed on its own merits. It took four seasons before the show was canceled, and over a decade for Amazon to admit defeat, but this silent acknowledgement that the best chance for the show to find an audience is to let Netflix have it truly marks the end of the streaming wars.

All episodes of The Man in the High Castle's first three seasons debut on Wednesday, March 11, 2026.

Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man

By the order of the Peaky Blinders, series creator Steven Knight and series star Cillian Murphy return to their biggest hit of the 2010s. However, this is not just a nice button on the traditionally defined success of "six seasons and a movie," and a chance for Knight and Murphy to put their creation up on the big screen. It's a feature-film bridge to take the series over the World War II hump, so it can pick back up with the next generation of the Birmingham underground in Season 7, expected out in 2027.

Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man opens in select theaters on Friday, March 6, and will stream on Netflix starting Friday, March 20, 2026.

Young Sherlock

Guy Ritchie's not-a-prequel to his Sherlock Holmes films, Young Sherlock, is quite possibly one of his most interesting projects currently slated for 2026. Not only is it a great vehicle to introduce a new generation of British acting royalty in Hero Fiennes Tiffin (nephew to Ralph & Joseph) and Max Irons (son of Jeremy), but it's also the first time someone has made a big-budget series where the college-set coming-of-age trope is applied to the Sherlock Holmes franchise. Even better, Ritchie is keeping it real by setting the series in the early Victorian era, making it a mashup of tropes so tantalizing that it might succeed despite being stuck as a binge dump on Prime.

All episodes of Young Sherlock debut on Wednesday, March 4, 2026.

Deadloch Season 2

Prime's complete inability to promote anything on its service is largely why people don't know about Deadloch, the Australian "crime-solving black comedy" which debuted in 2023. The series stars Kate Box as Senior Sgt Dulcie Collins and Madeleine Sami as Det. Eddie Redcliffe, who solve murder cases in the titular (fictional) town along Tasmania's coastline. Season 2 will kick off with the suspicious death of Redcliffe's former detective partner, and promises to go full "Tropical Gothic," setting the case in the Northern Territory (aka the Top End).

All episodes of Deadloch Season 2 will debut on Friday, March 20, 2026.

Bait

Riz Ahmed stars in Amazon's newest comedy series, Bait, as Shah Latif, a struggling actor who has just been given his last chance at a big break in Hollywood, and has four days to land the role. Ahmed also wrote the series and is co-showrunner with Ben Karlin; the cast also includes Ritu Arya, Guz Khan, Weruche Opia, and Aasiya Shah.

All episodes of Bait debut on Wednesday, March 25, 2026.

Baking Show: Juniors Season 8

Roku is going hard on its Great British Baking Show acquisitions. February brought The Great American Baking Show: Big Celebrity Game, now March brings the debut of Season 8 of The Great British Baking Show: Juniors (known as Junior Bake Off in the U.K.), picking up where Netflix left off after a one-and-done stream of Season 7. Harry Hill welcomes us to the Baking Show tent, where judges Liam Charles and Ravneet Gill will taste the offerings from the talented tots.

All episodes of The Great British Baking Show: Juniors Season 8 arrive on Roku on Friday, March 13, 2026.

Outlander Season 8

Last, but very much not least, the final season of Outlander finally debuts on Starz. Unlike Season 7, there will be no Parts 1 and 2 stretched out over multiple years. Instead, Starz will treat viewers with the respect they deserve and roll out all 10 installments from March through May, as a proper TV show's final season should.

Outlander Season 8 debuts on Starz on Friday, March 6, 2026, and will continue with weekly episodes through mid-May.
