Filming Begins on 'Dinosaur' Season 2
Hulu has quietly become the streaming home of several high-quality British comedies that most American viewers just haven't managed to discover yet, despite those of us in the media yelling about them fairly regularly. (See also: Comedies like Extraordinary, Am I Being Unreasonable?, and Such Brave Girls.) But filming on the second season of one of the streamer's most underrated gems has just kicked off, meaning that now is the time for TV fans everywhere to start finally catching up.
Offbeat comedy Dinosaur follows the story of Nina, an autistic woman in her 30s who lives with her sister Evie in Glasgow. Happy in the established routine of both her life and their relationship, things are thrown into chaos when Evie not only gets a new boyfriend, but also agrees to marry him after just six weeks of dating. Forced to reconcile herself to her sister's impulsive decision, Nina must grapple with what this change means for her own life and vows to discover what she wants for herself.
Though most of the plot details are still under wraps, we do know that Season 2 will see Nina get a new love interest of her own. Played by Hyoie O'Grady (Sherlock & Daughter), this new arrival will shake things up and bring even more surprises to her changing world.
