'A Good Girl's Guide to Murder' Season 2 Introduces Three New Faces

Teenage crime-solving is back on the (streaming) menu with our first look at the highly anticipated second season of A Good Girl's Guide to Murder.  The BBC series, which streams on Netflix here in the U.S., is based on popular author Holly Jackson's bestselling series of YA novels. and follows the story of a young true crime enthusiast who becomes convinced her small town's most famous death isn't as open and shut as everyone seems to think it is. Determined to find the truth, she takes matters into her own hands and vows to prove her childhood friend isn't the killer so many think he is.

At the end of Season 1, both Pip and her Buckinghamshire town were left reeling by the uncomfortable truths revealed in the Andie Bell case. Facing some big life questions of her own — as well as some unresolved romantic issues with her investigative partner Ravi — she's determined to leave the mystery-solving business behind. But despite her best efforts, it seems as though the case of Andie's killer isn't quite done with her yet.

Season 2 will adapt Good Girl, Bad Blood, the second installment in Jackson's book series, and its story will see Pip forced to face the past even as she's confronted with a new mystery to solve when a friend's brother goes missing.
