BritBox Sets April Premiere for Third Season of John Simm Crime Drama 'Grace'
Streaming service BritBox has announced that the third season of the popular crime drama Grace is set to premiere this April, just a few short weeks after its broadcast concluded in the U.K.
Based on the popular series of novels by Peter James -- which is currently at 18 books, with a nineteenth set to arrive this Fall -- the series stars John Simm (Doctor Who) as the troubled, unyielding DS Roy Grace, a detective who has given his life to his job. He's joined by Richie Campbell (Liar), who plays Grace's partner, DS Glenn Branson.
Season 3 will be comprised of three feature-length films. They will adapt the fifth, sixth, and seventh of James's novels, all set in and around the seaside city of Brighton. (The TV has been following the books in order up until this point, so this is pretty expected.)
