'The Suspect' Trailer Asks Whether Aidan Turner Is a Hero or a Killer

Buzzy thriller The Suspect officially arrives in America next month on streamer Sundance Now, and if the first trailer is anything to go by, it's going to be a tense and twisty ride, asking us to question what we believe about the lead character we're watching.

"All fear can be overcome, rational and irrational. And sometimes we need help in doing that," star Aidan Turner intones ominously as the clip begins. What initially sounds like fairly bland self-help advice suddenly becomes much creepier as the promo goes on. We learn that not everything about this supposedly good man is what it seems.

But whether he is ultimately the hero or the villain of his own life is a story only the rest of the series can unravel.
