The 'Life of Chuck' Trailer Feels Magical & Life Affirming

Though most people likely associate the name Stephen King with his popular horror novels, like Carrie, The Stand, or Pet Sematary, he’s also the mind behind heartwrenching stories of humanity, such as The Shawshank Redemption and The Green Mile. If the trailer is anything to go by, the forthcoming King adaptation The Life of Chuck is firmly in that latter category.

(Reader, I cried watching it.)

As you might expect from the title, The Life of Chuck revolves around the story of a single man: Charles ‘Chuck’ Krantz. Played by Tom Hiddleston (The Night Manager), the movie follows his life in reverse chronological order over three acts, from his death at the age of 39 to his childhood, as he experiences love and loss.
