'Such Brave Girls' Season 2 Trailer Boldly Goes Where It Shouldn't
The sudden success of sisters Kat Sadler and Lizzie Davidson with their startling comedy, Such Brave Girls, cannot be overstated. Neither had much of a career before the series — Sadler's most prominent credit was as a freelance comedy writer for hire on Mel Giedroyc: Unforgivable, and Davidson had never landed an on-screen role, period. But BBC Three took a chance on Sadler's pitch for a series drawn from her own mental health struggles and her sister's money problems, and the result was a critical darling and one of 2025's most anticipated comedy arrivals this July.
Speaking to the BBC about the show's second season, Sadler admitted that she staved off "sophomore slump" but going twice as hard as she did in Season 1. (And Season 1 does not lack for going hard.) "We’re back and we’re so much worse," she said. "I’ve enjoyed torturing all the characters again this year. Smaller brains and bigger egos."
Asked about co-starring with her real-life sister, Sadler admitted there were similarities to their off-screen relationship, "in terms of the fact that our relationship is based on feeding each other’s delusions as much as possible." As for Davidson, she claims, "My life consists of sitting and waiting for a genius draft from Kat, and annoyingly, she never disappoints."
