'Watson's Team Head to Amish Country in Episode 4

John Watson and his team hit the road in Episode 4 of Watson to track down family members of Dr. Lubbock's cadaver from med school when she realized her cadaver exhibited the same symptoms of Cowden Syndrome – a genetic disorder that predisposes its victims to cancer – as a current Holmes Clinic patient. The investigation took the team all around Pennsylvania with an extended stop in Amish country.

John did a graduate study in the same town years prior. It was also where he proposed to Mary. While John wanted to reminisce about the early days, Mary pushed for them to finalize his divorce. He conceded by the end of the episode, but we'll see whether he can keep his word on that. Meanwhile, Dr. Lubbock needed a reality check, which came from the most unlikely place.

While the team worked on their case, Shinwell (Ritchie Coster) finally fought against Moriarty's handlers. We know the evil doctor is emotionally blackmailing Shinwell into helping keep tabs on John, but we'll see if John's right-hand man can outmaneuver the super villain. So far, Moriarty has been at least three steps ahead of both Shinwell and John and we are no closer to figuring out his ultimate motive.
