Long-kept secrets come to the surface and the best laid plans of detectives and thieves go awry in the latest episode of Code of Silence. All begins quietly, when DI James Marsh visits a woman at her home. It turns out she’s Liam’s former foster mother, Dawn. It’s nearly the anniversary of her husband Charlie’s death. Charlie was killed by an associate of Liam’s gang. Charlie has been on James’s mind because of the investigation, but he doesn’t say anything about it to Dawn.

James finds out that Amir Joshi’s valuable necklace is due to be in transit soon to be shown to private buyers, a moment of weakness when the gang might strike. The detectives set to work preparing to catch them in the act.

Tired of keeping secrets, Alison meets her estranged father at a pool hall.
