Rosamund Pike Will Make Her Broadway Debut with 'Inter Alia'
Suzie Miller’s buzzy legal drama Inter Alia will officially transfer to the Great White Way this Fall.
Americans miss out on so much great British theater that it’s always a treat when one of the more acclaimed recent productions announces its intention to cross the pond. Jamie Lloyd’s colorful take on William Shakespeare’s Much Ado About Nothing is slated for an encore run on Broadway, and now Suzie Miller’s buzzy legal drama Inter Alia will officially transfer to the Great White Way for Fall 2026.
Oscar nominee Rosamund Pike (The Wheel of Time) stars in the buzzy production, which premiered at London’s National Theatre last summer and is currently playing in the West End through June 2026. It will then move house to Broadway, where it will play a strictly limited run beginning in November at New York’s Music Box Theatre.
Inter Alia — which means “among other things” — follows the story of Jessica Parks (Pike), a London Crown Court judge working to change a system she knows isn’t always just. As she tries to balance her career goals with roles as a mother and wife, she’s forced to confront some uncomfortable truths about justice, family, and how far she’s willing to go in the name of either.
Pike, who just picked up an Olivier Award for Best Actress for this performance, will reprise her role for the Broadway transfer. Miller’s previous play, Prima Facie, won a Tony Award for star Jodie Comer (Killing Eve) in 2023, and it seems a safe bet that Pike may well follow in her footsteps.
“What surprises me night after night performing this play is how audience members tell me they recognize themselves on stage,” Pike said in a statement. “Men find themselves moved and confronted, women declare themselves seen, and parents and children tell me the story has led them to vital conversations. People recount how they laugh and cry with us, and that’s all I can hope for. Suzie Miller has an indelible way of putting women’s experiences on stage in a way that touches, excites, moves, and blindsides. Justin Martin’s direction fuels my imagination constantly. I am thrilled and humbled to make my Broadway Debut with this role, in a theatre that is beyond my wildest dreams.”
It is unclear whether Pike’s London co-stars, Jamie Glover (Agatha Raisin) and Jasper Talbot (Broadchurch), will also be part of the show’s New York run. (Although Justin Miller will once again direct.)
The production features scenic and costume design by Miriam Buether, lighting design by Natasha Chivers, sound design by Ben and Max Ringham, video design by Willie Williams for Treatment Studios, compositions by Erin LeCount and James Jacob PKA Jakwob, movement and intimacy direction by Lucy Hind, and music supervision by Nick Pinchbeck. Further casting will be announced at a later date.
Inter Alia will run from November 10, 2026, until February 21, 2027, at The Music Box Theatre, with the Opening Performance set for December 1.
