The 'Code of Silence' Season 1 Finale Sets Up for a Great Ongoing Series

Though the failed heist is over and arrests have been made, more hurdles lie ahead for Alison in the season finale of Code of Silence. Liam is on the run with the jewel necklace, but detectives James and Ashleigh have managed to book three gang members involved in the heist. One more, Braden, is still on the run, and the detectives can’t get any helpful information on him. Ben, who was shot at the scene of the crime, undergoes major surgery and is in a coma, but is stable.

The detectives finish questioning Alison and release her to her mom, Julie. James and Ashleigh relocate Alison and Julie to a safe house because Braden and his associates know she worked with the detectives to impede the robbery. Oliver, another officer, is assigned to watch over them at the house.

Alison is frustrated by feeling stuck at the safehouse, so she asks Ashleigh to take her to visit Ben at the hospital. When they get there, Ben’s wife is waiting outside his hospital room and is upset to see Alison there. She knows all about Alison’s involvement in the case and accuses Alison of endangering Ben by sleeping with Liam and jeopardizing the case. She says if Alison had just done as she was told, Ben wouldn’t have gotten shot. Alison tries to apologize, but she doesn’t want to hear it.
