Everything British Worth Streaming in November 2026
It’s everything British worth streaming on the major American subscription services in November 2026, from Apple TV to Tubi.
November is here, and with it, cooler weather (mostly), darker evenings (don’t forget to reset the kitchen clocks), and the holidays. Once, this was when regularly scheduled shows wound down while holiday specials rolled in, but that’s not the case anymore. Though plenty of season finales are coming in November, such as Outlander: Blood of My Blood on Starz, most mainstream American streaming services are making sure there are new weekly series to replace them.
The new titles are part of gearing up for Black Friday weekend, both with their own sales – expect a lot of holiday discounts – and by keeping families entertained with Christmas movie marathons and other special one-off episodes for the holidays.
Some of these holiday offerings are the usual American classics: “all The Simpsons Treehouse of Horrors” for Halloween; “all the Friends Thanksgivings”; and so on. But in the push to make sure there’s something for everyone, almost all the major services have sprinkled in a few British (or British-ish) debuts. Multiple films also arrive this month as the first wave of awards contenders move from theaters to streaming just in time for family get-togethers.
So let’s run down all the British (and British-ish) titles coming to our shores on the major streaming services for November 2026.

Small Prophets Season 1 still has a couple of episodes to go, and will conclude mid-month.
12 12 12
We are very annoyed with 12 12 12, which has the nerve to be set internationally and co-stars Jamie Dornan (The Tourist) as a suspect in a million-dollar heist being investigated by Captain America Anthony Mackie. It would be our lane, except Dornan is playing an American. To add insult to injury, the series is called 12 12 12, but it’s debuting on 11/13. Rude.
12 12 12 premieres on Apple TV on November 13, 2026, and streams one episode a week through the end of the year.
Being Huemann
We are big fans of Ruth Madeley (Doctor Who), whose passionate advocacy for wheelchair users brought a ramp to the TARDIS doorstep. Here she stars in Being Huemann as the titular “Mother of the Disability Rights Movement,” Judy Heumann, in a feel-good underdog story perfect for family viewing.

It’ll be a couple more weeks before the Avengers: Doomsday marketing blowout begins in earnest. Until then, the Paul Bettany-starrer Visionquest continues with new episodes through mid-month.
Rivals Season 2, Part 2
After failing to land the hoped-for Emmy nominations, Rivals returns with the second half of its bifurcated Season 2. Hopefully fans will tune back in when the three-episode premiere arrives, but the decision to move the series to Wednesday debuts instead of Fridays has us concerned.
Rivals Season 2 Part 2 premieres on Disney+/Hulu with Episodes 7, 8, and 9 on Wednesday, November 11, 2026, with one episode a week to follow through the start of December.
Vienna Game
Vienna Game is another German series that’s arriving as a binge dump on Hulu because Disney+ doesn’t want you to know it’s not an import. The six-part Austrian series looks like a historical period drama, but the trailer screams satire. Honestly, Disney wouldn’t know how to market this even if it wanted to.
Vienna Game debuts on Hulu with all episodes on Thursday, November 18, 2026.

HBO forgot to tell us about Youth, including that its finale awkwardly lands on November 1. Meanwhile, War Season 1 continues with new episodes through the end of the month.
The Gilded Age Season 4
If you’ve seen the first reviews for The Gilded Age’s new season, you’ll already be chomping at the bit to see the premiere. Julian Fellowes managed to outlast David Zaslav, and apparently that feat means he has zero f*cks left to give and is going balls-to-the-wall for Season 4. Be seated.
The Gilded Age Season 4 debuts Sunday, November 1, 2026 at 9 p.m. ET on HBO and HBO Max and will stream one episode a week on Sundays until Christmas.
The Roses
We lost track of Benedict Cumberbatch and Olivia Colman’s The Roses remake, and then suddenly, boom, here it is, landing on HBO Max just in time for the holidays. Good job, everybody!
The Roses debuts on HBO and HBO Max on Friday, November 20, 2026.

Despite the mislabeling of Pie Week as Pastry Week, The Great British Baking Show Season 17 continues with new episodes through the end of the month.
Black Doves Season 2
For those who have rediscovered The Diplomat-shaped hole in their lives after Season 4, there’s very good news: Black Doves is back with Season 2 to remind you what an actual hit TV series looks like. Sorry, Kerri Russell.
All episodes of Black Doves Season 2 debut on Netflix on Thursday, November 5, 2026.
The Empress Season 3
Unlike Vienna Game, a German TV series that merely looks like a period drama to tug at the heartstrings, The Empress is the real deal. The third and final season will have everything from infertility to infidelity and choosing duty and honor over love. Bring hankies.
All episodes of The Empress Season 3 arrive Thursday, November 12, 2026.
Cunk on Cinema
Mockumentarian Philomena Cunk (Diane Morgan) brings the latest mockuseries, Cunk on Cinema, to viewers in mid-November on the BBC. Netflix will then pull the same 60-hour turnaround given to The Great British Baking Show and premiere it four days later here in the States. We approve.
All three episodes of Cunk on Cinema will debut on Sunday, November 15, 2026.
The Great British Baking Show: Holidays Season 9
Speaking of The Great British Baking Show, the 11-month delay on the holiday specials means that The Great British Baking Show: Holidays Season 9 will return to the pre-Nigella days for Prue Leith’s final two episodes from 2025. Perhaps because the judging switch will feel disjointed, or maybe because David Mitchell (Ludwig) competes in the tent, Netflix is premiering it before the current season concludes, which, while not unheard of, is unusual enough to note.
Both episodes of The Great British Baking Show: Holidays Season 9 arrive on Netflix on Monday, November 23, 2026.

For those who can’t get enough of Pierce Brosnan and Helen Mirren dining on the furniture for large paychecks, MobLand Season 2 continues through November, ending just before Thanksgiving.
It Gets Worse
The new era of Skydance is here, and if this is how it plans to treat British shows, we can expect that Warner Media will be for sale again in another five years. It Gets Worse already went super viral among young female viewers because of Andrew Scott, so Paramount+ is... (checks notes) dropping it as an all-at-once binge with little fanfare and only on the Paramount+ with Showtime tier.
It does indeed get worse.
All episodes of It Gets Worse will debut on Paramount+ with Showtime as a binge on Friday, November 6, 2026.

We regret to inform you that The Traitors: New Blood is still a going concern, but it will be put out of its misery before the month is over. To add insult to injury, Peacock is debuting The Traitors: Australia Season 3 as a binge on finale day instead of The Celebrity Traitors Season 2. In fact, there’s no sign of The Celebrity Traitors Season 2 coming here anytime soon.
The Uprising
Andrew Garfield stars in The Uprising, a film that was supposed to be about Wat’s Rebellion, where peasants killed all the self-important rich folk who were treating them like chattel. Somehow, Universal decided this meant they should market it as “A Robin Hood Story.” True Hollywood incompetence or billionaires suppressing a film that might inflame the masses? I guess we’ll never know.
The Uprising will stream on Peacock starting Friday, November 6, 2026.
The Good Daughter
Every so often, Sky and Peacock make a series that’s set in America even though it has very British sensibilities. The result is these weird, eclectic hybrid shows like The Good Daughter, with all the sensibilities of a Channel 5 drama of the week, but with American accents.
The Good Daughter premieres with all episodes on Peacock on Thursday, November 12, 2026.

The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power Season 3
The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power landed a Season 3 commission, despite Amazon spending a billion dollars on Seasons 1 and 2 and getting only middling ratings in return. At first, we thought this proved the show was more successful than it looked, and Amazon was fully committed to seeing it through. However, after seeing the release schedule for the eight-episode season and knowing the show is already skipping ahead to get the rest of the rings forged already, and... oh dear.
The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power Season 3 will debut with four episodes on Wednesday, November 11, followed by two episodes on Wednesday, November 18, and the final two episodes on Wednesday, November 25, 2026.
Secret Service
For all that we continue to yell about MGM+ paywalling off an entire section of TV shows and movies that would actually get watched if they were on Prime Video, at least it’s giving Gemma Arterton’s Secret Service series a proper rollout, something it probably won’t even get from parent network ITV.
Secret Service premieres on MGM+ on Sunday, November 22, 2026, and streams one episode a week through the end of December.

The Walsh Sisters Season 1
If you want to know why Fox is buying out Roku and will probably eventually be subsumed into Tubi, understand this. In 2025, as streaming services added cheaper ad tiers and free FAST networks left and right, Roku launched a premium subscription service on its platform called Howdy, trying to get people to pay for the content it already offered for free for years. Worse, someone let Roku pick up the rights to The Walsh Sisters, which will stream on this untimely and ill-thought-out service no one has paid the slightest attention to. And, AND! Roku will stream it weekly, so you can’t do a free trial and binge all episodes. True story.
The Walsh Sisters Season 1 will premiere on Roku’s Howdy on Thursday, November 5, 2026, and stream one episode a week through mid-December.
