Netflix’s ‘The Gentlemen’ Are Back in Business This Fall
Eddie Horniman's criminal empire appears to be expanding in Season 2.
Buckle up, Netflix’s The Gentlemen is officially back in action for 2026. The second season of the Netflix action-comedy series, created by director Guy Ritchie (Sherlock Holmes), is set to hit screens this September and, if the first teaser is anything to go by, will see Eddie Horniman (Theo James), the newly minted Duke of Halstead, going after what he wants, which is, in fact, everything.
The show’s second season will pick up a year after its first, which saw Einherit inherit not just his family title but also the hidden cannabis empire that comes with it. Determined to extricate himself from Britain’s criminal underworld, the freshly minted 14th Duke of Halstead joins forces with Susie Glass (Kaya Scodelario) and her incarcerated father, Bobby (Ray Winstone), to beat the gangsters at their own game. However, it turns out that Eddie’s rather good at breaking the law. Where does he go from here?
That is a question that only Season 2 will be able to answer when it finally arrives. But if the teaser is anything to go by, Eddie and Susie’s operation is certainly leveling up, shifting from a grim underground lair beneath Halstead to the sunny villas of Italy.
Here’s the Season 2 synopsis.
It’s been one year since Eddie and Susie joined forces to work together in Bobby’s criminal empire overseas. As they drive to expand their enterprise, the decisions Bobby is making seem to be increasingly unsound. Now Eddie and Susie must decide whether to take action or risk losing it all, but unfettered ambition never ends well…

Based on his film of the same name, The Gentlemen is created by Ritchie, who co-wrote all the episodes with Matthew Read (Curfew). Ritchie also directs with Erin Creevy. Laura Jackson and Max Keene are producers, with Ritchie, Read, Will Gould, Frith Tiplady, Simon Crawford Collins, and Ivan Atkinson of Moonage Pictures as executive producers.
